Project |Daily Bullentin Boards

I haven't seen this anywhere so forgive me if you have! I needed a bright, warm place to organize my day and engage with my self. I orginally had all my posters and wall hangings behind a bedroom door! Big no-no, if you actually want to use something.

All behind the bedroom door...Outta sight outta mind!

New spot

New spot

Since moving the shelf to the basement for "craft room" this was barren, yet prime real estate for something new.

My Supplies

My Supplies

I made my own boarders using Word and printed other things. I used tape. Of course you can use glue.

The bakground

The bakground

I'm not a huge fan of pink, but the hot pink with the blue, became a great attractive combination for me. I wanted it to be feminine and masculine. Pretty and powerful.

The boarder

The boarder

You probably can't see the words, but I chose things that motivate me. For each of us it'll be different

10 Prayers for your Husband

10 Prayers for your Husband

I found this during a Google search some time in 2014. I've included the link. I don't like re-printing things when they get dirty, so I've laminated it.

Chore Chart

Chore Chart

Yes Hunny! I love my chore chart! I've downloaded many apps to help me stay focused and organized...But there's nothing like a simple chore chart to help you stay focused on what's completed and what still needs to be done.

Project |Cloth Sanitary Napkins

I really enjoyed the process of finding a pattern that I liked and making these. I didn't have enough to make them with snaps, but since I use them on days I stay at home, it didn't matter. They are VERY comfortable. I used ratty old cloth baby diapers and fabric from some pj's I can't fit anymore. I "water proofed" mine using babybed matress pads. I will be making more!!

Project |Mini Workbooks/Learning Books

This project was hacked from a pin on pinterest. Jennifer on firstgradeblueskies.com shows how you can make small workbooks for students using photo albums and flashcards.

I enjoyed taking out flashcards out of boxes, and index card containers and putting then in a ready to use format. I ordered 4x6 photo albums from uniquephoto.com They had great prices and quick delivery. â€‹My boys loved them immediately and that's the best part!!
