My Favorite Life Hacks!

While it's still a trend to find life's shortcuts, in an effort to save time, I thought I'd take a few minutes to share a few of my favorites....
Top Three:
1. Use clear containers and bins whenever possible. I learned this one from hubby. He'd spend more on the clear stronger containers and his work area is always more effeicient. I've caught on and all the kids toys are in clear, winter accessories, food, seasonal items in the basement all in clear containers. I always know the contents and the quantity
2. Freeze PB&J sandwiches. Picked this one up from my Mother-in-law. With a 5 and a 2 year old, this is something that just makes life easier.
3. Use a paperclip on the end of a roll of tape. If you have nice strong finger nails this probably isn't an issue for you. But for me? I often find myself seeking out my husband ( who does have nice strong nails) to get the roll started for me.
Here's some honorable mentions:
Drop some essential oil on the inside of the toliet paper roll
Cook a double batch of dinner and freeze it
Lay out everyone's clothes, shoes and bags for the next day
Bake on Sunday's
Use velcro to secure a rug on the floor ( where it won't ruin your floors, of course)
Use a meal planner
Have a basket of diapers, wipes etc. in living room
Use command hook on back of high chair for bibs
use resuable snack bags instead of plastic ones or buying snack size bags from the store
Have mommy and me/us time early in the day
